Dear
Friends and
Family,
It seems that everyone is talking about the economy these days. Isn’t it
awesome to know that as Christians we don’t have to go around every day
as people without hope, but instead we can put our faith in Jesus Christ
and put our focus on our inheritance waiting for us in Heaven one day?
As Christians, we need to invest not in earthly things that will not
last, but in eternal things that will last forever.
Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where
moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal.
But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor
rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal. For
where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Matthew 6:19-21
The majority of the people living in Peru are not Christians. They have
not had the opportunity to hear the powerful and life changing word of
God. God has called our family to serve in Peru and share about His love
to the lost souls that have never had the opportunity to hear about the
hope that is found in Jesus Christ. We challenge you today to pray
diligently for the lost souls in Peru and all over this planet. Today
we are closer than ever before to Christ’s return and there is much work
to do. Please ask God what He would have you to do to enlarge His
kingdom.
In
His Service,
Danny,
Jennifer, Christopher, and Catherine

Family Update
As many of you know Jennifer and I are
blessed with two fantastic children. Our daughter Catherine is
in 6th grade and is involved with drama club, band,
spelling bee, 4-H, bible drill, and a lot of homework.
She also has been instrumental in getting students at her school
to meet and pray once a month. God has given her many talents
and skills that we are so proud of. We know that God has
wonderful plans for her now and in the future.
Christopher is making us smile each day with
his achievements that many may take for granted. With a special
needs child the little things are huge accomplishments. He is
beginning to sleep through the night in his own bed!
Unfortunately, we found out over the
Christmas holidays that Christopher will need back surgery. His
surgery will be on March 4 at Scottish Rite. We ask you to
remember him and our family in your prayers during this time.
We know that God is in control and will continue to hold
Christopher in the palm of His hand. |
Support Update
After much prayer, our family has decided to
delay our departure for Peru until the summer of 2010. This
will give Christopher a chance to heal from his back surgery and
also give us the opportunity to share our calling with more of
our brothers and sisters in Christ.
We have had the opportunity to speak and be
blessed by several mission minded churches. Our prayer is that
God keeps providing us with the opportunities to share our
hearts with His people and invite them to partner with us in
fulfilling The Great Commission found in the Gospel of Matthew.
We would be thrilled to come and share about
the exciting calling that God has placed on our lives with your
church family. We hope to see each of you soon! |
