About our Family
Our Calling
God has called us on an amazing journey. Although we feel incompetent in fulfilling this mission, we know that God has called us, and that He will provide us with what He deems necessary in order to fulfill His mission! We know that with perseverance and focus on Him and His desires that amazing things are planned for our future. God has an amazing plan for everyone's life...if they are willing to listen and obey!
Our family is excited about this opportunity to serve Him in Peru. Danny has traveled to Peru on several occasions to build churches, evangelize, and to work at a partnering missionaries children's home. Our entire family traveled to Peru in the summer of 2007, and we felt an even stronger desire to answer God's calling while there. Peru has around 600,000 children that are abandoned, and many are living on the streets. We will be working with the children's home, homeless children, and sharing with the Peruvian people the gospel message. We are searching for Christians to partner with us through prayer and financial support to be able to minister to the children and adults in Peru. God willing, our plan is to move to Peru in 2010. Please continue to keep us in your prayers!

Danny-4/14
My parents are Billy and Wynelle Lewis, and I have one brother named Dwane. I grew up in Turner County where I regularly attended church. During an unforgettable trip to a youth evangelism conference at the age of fourteen, I asked Jesus to be my Savior. God has now blessed me with a wonderful wife and two beautiful children. We currently live in Chula, Georgia which is about 45 minutes north of Valdosta, Georgia. Our home church is Bethel Baptist Church in Sycamore, Georgia. I currently serve as a RA teacher and as brotherhood director at our church.
Jennifer-7/05
Jennifer has been a Christian since she was 10 years old. Many years later, she rededicated her life to the Lord and has been active in Church and missions outreach. Jennifer is the proud mother of Catherine and Christopher and the wife of Danny. Jennifer has taught seven years as a third grade teacher at Annie Belle Clark in Tifton, Georgia. She earned her bachelor's degree in education from Valdosta State University. In 2007, she earned her master's degree in reading education from Valdosta State University as well. She loves to work and share God's love with children and adults. Jennifer is also a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Sycamore, Georgia where she helps out with missions, vacation bible school, and children and youth ministries.
Christopher- 8/22/94
Christopher is now 14 years old and unlike any other teenager we know. Christopher was born with a very rare genetic disorder. He is a special blessing to our family and to many others. Christopher has many hobbies including playing on computers, riding horses, and music. He loves to go to church and listens to the sermons given by our preacher... most of the time. He has lots of energy and thankfully there are always many people around to help give him lots of love and support.
Catherine-6/06/97
Catherine is our sweet angel. She is a wonderful 12 year old. Thankfully, God called Catherine to follow him when she was 8 years old. She was baptized and became a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She has so much love in her heart for others and for those with special needs. She loves to help others that are not always able to help themselves. I have had several parents call me crying telling how much Catherine has meant to their special needs child. Catherine has many hobbies including drama, soccer, dance, and cheerleading. Catherine has always enjoyed being active in church. She sings in children's choir and is actively involved in Girls In Action.
